4.0 out of 5 stars. light and comfy, no pocketsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Morning Thunder from Cary, NC on Friday, December 9, 2016Great pair of running shorts with smooth and fine textured weave on both the outer part and liners.
My only beef if that not only does it not have any pockets, which I assumed there'd be w/o reading the details since Mountain Hardwear typically doesn't skip, but the key holder is too small and integrated into the liner to make it useless for a typical key.
This doesn't matter for runs from home or workouts so not a big deal. Quality, nice-looking pair of shorts for a good price otherwise. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Running shortsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Peterpc from De on Thursday, December 1, 2016I own some nice running shorts but I am still impressed by Mountain Hardwear Refueler Shorts.
It is stretchable and comfy. True to size. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. My XL pair was very largeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Random consumer from Catskill Mtns, NY on Tuesday, June 14, 2016I usually wear L in running shorts and the like, but sometimes can wear XL. I took a chance with XL on these (L was sold out), but the waistband was huge, even tent-like. The product does not seem to be cut for "athletic" proportions. I'm keeping them because of cost of shipping back returns, but it was a dud of a purchase.OTOH, the stated waist size of 40-42 is probably warranted.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for the job.Reviewed by C from Colorado on Monday, March 14, 2016Comfortable, simple, no-frills shorts.
For the price? Can't be beat.
If I needed them I would buy a bunch of pairs at a deep discount and they would be great everyday shorts.
I cut the liner out, but it was of fine quality (I just hate liners). -

3.0 out of 5 stars. These run smallReviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Friday, February 26, 2016The sizing on these shorts are small...so a large is really a medium.
Get the next size up when you order them.
Love the fabric great shorts to go to the gym -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by VA Outdoor Girl from VA on Saturday, September 5, 2015These are very different from the black refuler shorts. Material is not as light and the sizes are smaller. If you haven't fallen in love with the black sports, you may be satisfied with these but beware of the sizing. Husband was quite disappointed and son is having to return his.
