3.0 out of 5 stars. AverageReviewed by Big Red Dog Trekking Crew from Denver, NC on Saturday, July 29, 2017Do not not let the name convince you of the ability.
I wore these on a 40 degree day for a 5mile hike, and about 20mins into it, I had to put on my silk inserts. These were not keeping my hands warm. I never felt the wind cut through them, but I sure was glad i had my inserts...
Made well, and look well - might be great for the car ride, but not for the open air (in my mind...) -
1.0 out of 5 stars. Women's GlovesReviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Thursday, February 9, 2017I read the other reviews about how warm these gloves are and wondered how they achieved warmth? I bought a women's pair, liked the appearance, hoped they would keep my hands warm on the job. In thirty degree weather, my hands were freezing. Very disappointing. I cannot find any information on them. Do I have to heat them in some way for them to be warm? How have others been able to achieve warmth?

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good Feel; Fair gloveVerified Buyer Reviewed by gorgeguy from Portland, OR on Friday, December 30, 2016Appearance of the glove is nice, especially the touches of black "plastic"? Inside they feel snug, seeming to use fabric rather than fleece or "wool." Therefore they work well as an "around-the-town" glove in fairly cool temps (wore them from 37-44 degrees with no issues.
For biking they don't quite work. They fit "baggy" where you insert the hand so cold winds nip at the start of the wrist (could cover with a form-fitting jacket). They do seem somewhat windproof inside as I didn't feel cold wind on my fingers when coming down a hill in 36 degree temps. The bagginess does affect your ability to grasp things, including the handlebars. By the end of that ride (15 minutes to work), my hands were a bit chilled.
Overall, these were worth the low price I paid and they will get you around town if the weather isn't too cold. However, they don't have any stand-out characteristics to make them a desirable item over some of the better gloves that are slightly pricier. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. WowVerified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoors Mom from Wisconsin on Tuesday, December 13, 2016Few things take my husband by surprise, but these gloves sure did. Smooth and sleek aesthetic; they are VERY warm, and seem nice n' durable. WI is hitting a week of 5 degrees/-20's w/ windchill and his hands are doing fine. Well-fitted; repel moisture nicely; well-thought out features.
