They are durable, comfortable and well made. I walk 8-10 miles per day on a somewhat hilly trail that is about 75% course gravel and the rest is concrete. I have yet to lose my footing no matter what the weather.
Just remember not to wear the studded ones inside.

Order a half size larger than regular shoes. We've had plenty of slippery trails to try them on this winter and they work great. Much better than any "add on" traction devices.
