I wear a size 8 in standard US sizing, and have to go up to a size 12 in Black Diamond clothing. I have other Black Diamond shorts and love them. Unfortunately these shorts are cut very low waisted, with a short inseam. They were returned.

Perfect length for actually doing activities. Great for climbing, just make sure to use the size chart and you will be happy with the sizing.

I didn't even try to get a smaller size because I think I'd have had to go down two sizes to get them over my thighs. I have big legs and an average waist, so shorts/pants are tough. If you're the same, these (admittedly cute) shorts might not be for you. The color was great and they looked well made!

The 6 inch length is why I purchased them - very difficult to find shorts in this modest length. They do arrive rolled up shorter than that, but I just ironed them unrolled.
