  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Great look but fit is weird - I must return

Odd fit around upper arms at shoulders. I am not a huge guy but this shirt is kinda tight and the arm fabric juts out when I pout my arms down and squeezes under my arms. Strange - and most unfortunate as I love the look and feel otherwise.
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. 3rd generation Mclane shirt?

I bought two of the first generation of this shirt. It had a western yoke but a mountain look. I bought the second generation version of the shirt and found they had changed to a muscle-man (shorter) sleeve. Still loved the shirt. This third gen has longer sleeves again and great colors, but has a more conservative plaid pattern and grey band on the collar. It makes me feel kind of old. It might shape up with a few washes.
  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. this shirt was ruined.

    oh my.

the prior mclanes had a nice understated check to them, like a grey pattern.

    not this iteration.

these literally have a "dad plaid" going on in them, which to me, ruins the look --

-- no more cool, just more dad!

don't forget to wear your mom jeans with them!

totally not MH of the past -- and they say columbia doesn't influence their designs -- !!

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
