5.0 out of 5 stars. Interesting jacket

Read reviews and ordered an XL when I normally take a L. Good call. Grey color is sharp, wife really liked it. Styling is very clean. Lots of useful storage for phones, glasses, flask, etc. This will be a go to jacket this fall and for light rain conditions.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Ridiculously small

Ordered the XL due to prior review stating it runs small. The sizing says the XL is 45-47 shoulders. I wear a 44 blazer, and the shoulders on this jacket are extremely snug. Debating whether to send it back. Seems like a fairly nice jacket, although the pockets are a little odd. It has a light lining that seems like it would work well for the Portland rainy season. Just wish it actually fit.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
