5.0 out of 5 stars. Trim with a full hood

I'm 6' tall and 165 lbs. and the M fits great. It's a trimmer cut than my other rain jacket. This is a great jacket for going out on the town when it's raining or a weekend hike in the woods. The hood is full and when laid back looks pretty sharp as well. When up, the hood covers well without the closed in feel some other hoods may cause.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Only for slender fellows
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Arglebargle from Washington on Wednesday, June 22, 2016
The materials seemed to be good and the design was what I wanted. However, the size, XL, was way off and more like a medium. Even that size did not permit me to get my arms in the sleeves. Returned it.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
