Both are fantastic base layers or a cool outer layer in a dry hot climate. No itching and they can be worn for days before they start smelling funky. They can be washed in the sink, dry overnight even when it's 90 degrees, muggy and raining and never hold a smell. I'm 5'9" 165lbs and a medium fits me fine.

I have other merino wool t shirts (smartwool) and i like all of them. However, for warmer weather, i prefer these sphere shirts. They do wick well and dry pretty fast - of course much faster than my organic cotton t shirts. I would definitely recommend that you try these shirts. I think you will be pleased with them. I am 6' 3" 180 lbs and i purchased x large. The sleeves are a bit long but i actually prefer that. The shirt is loose on me but i also prefer that. I may order large the next time though.
