5.0 out of 5 stars. Another Solid Hoka ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Birmingham on Saturday, May 7, 2016I have been running in Hoka's for years. I have run in all generations of their shoes, and a lot of models. I am a trail runner, but weekly miles are in road versions of Hoka's. This is my first time in the Vanquish, and it is a solid shoe. The upper is well constructed, the cradle is nice, and the lower seems to be more dense and will hold up longer than the cheaper models (i.e. The Hoka Odyssey). It is a bit narrow in the width, so if you have a wide foot, might be a little tight. The toe box is a bit narrow too, but I like that in a shoe. I get 500 miles per pair, so hopefully there will be another pair on clearance.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe for an old guyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Richard from Kansas on Wednesday, December 30, 2015I have been on Hoka One Ones for about 8 months, Currently on Conquests. Had knee pain and plantar faciitis and these shoes took care of both. Running again, slow but steady. The Vanquish is almost identical to the Conquest. Only difference I can find is the upper construction. Give it a try.

5.0 out of 5 stars. EnamoredVerified Buyer Reviewed by brannon32 from Vacaville, CA. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015Admittedly, these are some odd looking shoes. I had reservations about purchasing them because I didn't want people to yell, "Frankenstein!" as they drove by me as I was jogging. After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a shot. So glad I did. For jogging, they are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Usually, the bottom of my feet hurt after a job, but not with these.
Because they are so soft on the bottom, I don't use them for walking because the bounce seems to take extra energy. They're also not something I would wear in public too often because of the looks. These are running/jogging shoes and they perform in that space admirably. -
