3.0 out of 5 stars. Ahnu Kovar Sport Sandal for MenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dimes from Wisconsin on Saturday, August 27, 2016They run smaller than a Keen and are also less sturdy/bulky.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Ahnu SandalsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mare from Rochester NY on Wednesday, August 24, 2016Appear sturdy. Seem to run narrow - my normal size is tight on my little toe. I'll be wearing them mainly for kayaking, so not much walking, otherwise would have needed to return them.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Half good...Reviewed by Davey Crockett from Tennessee, California on Friday, August 12, 2016The good:
- Very lightweight compared to my Keens.
- Grippy soles, although did not put them through the ultimate river rock test
The not-so-good:
- Looks like very cheap poly mesh with cheap stitching; Definitely not a backcountry sandal.
- Virtually no toe protection; This is a deal killer for canyoning through rivers and creek beds; Compare to a Keen Newport H2 toe where you can practically kick solid granite as hard as you can with no worries
- Some people find this a narrow shoe, and although it felt like a true D (medium) width to me, found the edges of my feet protruding through the side holes... another vulnerable area where there is really zero protection from the elements

3.0 out of 5 stars. Size was too small, recommend brick and mortar storeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Tuesday, August 9, 2016The sandals seemed nice but my toes hit the front of the sandal. I wear size 11.5 in my other shoes but these 11.5 sandals were too small. Had to pay for shipping to return them. I'll buy my future sandals in a regular store where I can try before I buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Light and sturdy sandalsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Blacksmith Jack from North Carolina on Tuesday, August 9, 2016The Ahnu Kovar Sport Sandals have quickly become favorite foot wear for me. They are light and the protected toe keeps gravel and other trash out. The full heel is much more comfortable than strap heel sandals that I have used in the past, which often rubbed sores on my tendon. There is good foot support and walking in them is a pleasure. Good sandals at a good price.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not for narrow feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by tfromor from Oregon on Thursday, August 4, 2016I should have a half size larger for length, I.e.my husband's sneaker size. If the width worked, I would exchange these, but they can't be tightened across the top. So, they don't work for narrow feet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The Adventure ShoeReviewed by Anonymous from Orlando on Monday, July 18, 2016Purchased these for my dad as a Father's day gift and I don't think he's taken them off since. He likes the adjustable straps and that they cover his big toes and they didn't cause any blisters or require a break in period. He affectionately calls them his "Adventure shoes" and can't wait to wear them on the boat. The only drawback is that he finds the buckle a little bit awkward but not a deal breaker. So far they've held up well and still look brand new!
