I ordered this and a Timbuk2 "Proof" at the same time to see which would server my purpose better. Both bags were great. I kept the "Proof' simply because i have a Filson that is very similar to this Wisecracker. The bag is well made. i like the magnet closures. there is no cross body strap which is necessary for me when used on a bike.

The large leather flap is a luxurious touch and high quality. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars was the bottom was not leather. There is a bit of leather on the side at the bottom but the bottom itself was double layer of canvas. For this price, I was expecting a full leather bottom, as other comparable leather / canvas messenger bags that I've owned in this price range. Not having leather canvas does make the bag mold better around your body but the since the leather flap is already one large piece of leather, I didn't think have the bottom leather would reduce its flex much.
