5.0 out of 5 stars. Barbara Barry sham .. the Interlace model (Queen)

Hey, it's Barbara Barry design and they have good manufacturers -- always good fabric. The stitching and workmanship is also always reliable. I bought a pair of these shams to go with some bedding that has a pale, pearly gray tone, as well as to go with some soft, pale khaki 'n creamy white items. This sham is reversible, and has both color schemes, as does the B.B. duvet cover in this model -- the "interlace".

I don't have that duvet cover, but might get it some day when it's even lower in price -- if you want it, I can tell you that except for the occasional B.B. item marketed on other sites (Amazon, BB&B, Wayfair, etc.), the lowest prices for Barbara Barry items are usually on Sierra T.P. The nice thing about the Interlace items is that they're subtle (another trademark feature of many B.B. designs), and masculine enough that the men who sleep between those sheets don't object to it being Too Girly. :-)

Still, the soft colors, the small, unobtrusive design, and the excellent fabrics are something women and girls like, along with their other more feminine bedding items. The material used by this company always has a nice hand, and my (pretty experienced -- I'm a linens aficionado) opinion is that while some throw pillows and accessories look better at a distance, and don't feel impressive (their 'hand') the Barbara Barry accessories look better the closer you get to them, and always feel lovely.

About Barbara Barry

It’s no accident that interior designer Barbara Barry added “Dream” to her line of bath linens. Made from plush long-staple Egyptian cotton, Barbara Barry towels are cloud-soft, quick drying and a dream to wrap up in after a bath or shower. Trained in San Francisco’s Academy of Art College and celebrated for her distinctly Californian laid-back glamour, Barbara Barry brings an air of calm and tranquility to the interiors she meticulously orchestrates. Barbara Barry bedding and towels are not only a joy to touch, but come in rich, subdued colors that complement today’s decor.
