The blanket weighs 3 lbs. 2 oz., and when delivered the blanket's folded size was 17.25 w x 15.25 d x 3" h. The main reason to get this blanket is for its versatile size. You can fold the blanket in half to put in your lap just like a normal throw blanket, or you can unfold completely for full coverage while lying down on a sofa, regardless of how tall you are. Otherwise, the blanket is well made and pretty much what you would expect for from 100% wool. Very warm for its heft.

About Amana

Established in the 1850s by a group of German immigrants in east-central Iowa, the Amana Colonies remained an almost entirely self-sufficient community for eighty years.
