I am wearing them with a regular-height hiking boot, and hiking for a couple of hours in the hills, and even then there is no slippage. The thickness is a plus for both wicking and comfort. Highly recommended.

They are still moisture managing and fitted to the foot. They have no holes and I wear these babies a lot. It is recommended not to dry but I have since I purchased them.

The cushion factor is really nice, they are a bit thicker than some of my other workout socks though, so I'll probably only wear these in the winter when it's cooler. They are also not as soft as some of my others, but it's my hands that feel that, not my feet, so it's in no way a wearing deterrent. All in all, a nice sock.
