4.0 out of 5 stars. Cateye Uno LED Bike Light - it's a spot lightReviewed by wolfpa from wild west on Thursday, March 31, 2016I haven't had this light long, but it seems well built and easy to use. The mounting hardware is easy to use and fits a wide range of handle bar diameters. Latching the light to its mount hardware is a tad stiff - but not a problem. Before buying, I read reviews on other sites. Two of the primary complaints are: 1) it has a narrow beam and 2) some claim their lights are DOA. I think I can address both issues. 1 - THIS LIGHT HAS A NARROW BEAM. If you're looking for a light with a wide beam - this is not your light. If you're looking to be seen, or to throw light a fair distance down the trail - this might be your light (especially at STP sale prices). 2 - Be advised that the light requires that you hold the power button for a couple seconds before it turns on. This is nice for avoiding accidental power drain. Once the light is on, a quick push of the power button switches it between steady and flashing. The translucent collar might qualify as a VERY SLIGHT "be seen" light from the side.
