4.0 out of 5 stars. GOOD BOOTSVerified Buyer Reviewed by MOTORCYCLEMIKE from BOSTON MA on Friday, October 13, 2017I just bought the Boots so before leaving a really good review I would need more Time, anyway they seem like really good Boots and will be putting them through allot of Hiking and see how they hold up.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So far so goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Eastern Washington on Thursday, October 12, 2017Fit my feet well; wide toe box and a somewhat skinny heel. No trail or water proof testing as of yet but they are softening up and getting more comfortable each day. Like my other Garmonts, I ordered a full size up.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great except for a foot knuckle rubVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Boston on Monday, October 9, 2017Comfy, supportive, roomy. Main negative is a rub against the top of your foot knuckles from the first set of eyelets I think? it's also a little bit warmer and less breathable than other boots despite it looking like it would ventilate well.
Tread is good for muddy/slippery ground too. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Well madeVerified Buyer Reviewed by PheonixRush from Charlotte on Monday, July 31, 2017Nicely made boot, had everything I was looking for but the arch support was lower than I like.
Out of a 1-10 scale 1 being no arch support to 10 being very high I'd rate this boot around 6.
I prefer an Asolo I rate at and 8. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Lots of boot for the $Reviewed by PAFlyAngler from Pennsylvania on Monday, June 19, 2017I do home/stucco inspections so I'm frequently up and down ladders on uneven landscapes. I like these boots so far because they breath, have a sturdy sole (for ladder work), and good ankle support. I went up a whole size, as suggested by some reviews, and probably didn't need to. I think 1/2 size would have been sufficient, although now I have room for warm socks. This is a more robust boot than I normally buy, but for $130 seems like a great buy and hopefully will last longer than previous hikers that I've owned.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Rugged bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ray Jennings from Midland, MI on Tuesday, November 15, 2016I bought this boot to perform tree work in, mainly standing in hooks when doing removals. I liked the boot but had to return them as the size, a 46 was too small. Otherwise they would be covered in saw dust by now.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Garmont Antelao BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Larry from Oregon on Thursday, October 13, 2016I bought this boot for hunting. You recommended 1/2 size larger so I ordered 10&1/2 instead of 10. Boot is well built and comfortable but still a little short. I've only worn them a half dozen times alternating with another pair of boots and am hoping they will stretch slightly. If they do I would buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Stout BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Ilinois on Friday, September 2, 2016These boots are the first time I have bought a Garmont. I've only worn them once, but I'm not dissappointed yet. The height is taller then my last pair, so that will take some getting used to. The lacing is a bit different too. They feel very solid, and and just the right weight. I don't believe they are crampon compatible, but they have a lot of traction on the sole already. The nubuck is very smooth, and I wonder how long they will stay looking new.
