3.0 out of 5 stars. thin, lightweight fabric; good fitReviewed by Anonymous from CA on Friday, September 18, 2015I bought these pants on another site only to find a few weeks later that they were finally added to Sierra Trading Post. Oh well. They're made of a very thin, lightweight fabric, which is what I was looking for on desert hikes, and offer UPF 50+ protection. They fit as expected, but the pants are not gusseted, which I was disappointed to discover. Additionally, although I specifically wanted a lightweight pant for desert hikes, the fabric is VERY thin, and I am certain it will not be as durable as my current hiking pants (in which I have several times slid butt-first down scree and slab with nary a hole) that weigh ~2x what this pair does--so it's a good idea to keep in mind what types of hikes you expect to go on before purchasing these pants.
