Baseball caps leave such bad hat head, I can't take it off the rest of the day. My hat size is 7 1/4 but I ordered the XL because I didn't want it to be snug. The last hat I ordered in my size was snug and would cause the same problem with hat head. This has an internal drawstring if I feel like I need to make in more snug. I have not worn it in the rain or anywhere yet so I cannot report on that. I wish it came in lighter, summer like colors, otherwise I think it is cute.
