1.0 out of 5 stars. Seeing foot doctorReviewed by Anonymous from Springfield. Missouri on Tuesday, November 8, 2016Too stiff. Too narrow. Factory insoles gave me plantar fasciaits - shoe store said oh you should have bought the $60 insoles provided by Redwing. $160 for shoes and the supplied insoles are junk! Ask for help with fit at store - parking lot warranty. Heel liner is worn through. Have had 6 other pairs of Vasque - comfortable out of the box. New low and high tops will most likely go on Facebook for sale. Only wore high tops three or four times Feet still hurting!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Love themVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eyebrew from Tennessee on Monday, October 31, 2016These are a very comfortable shoes. Look the Vibram soles which was the main reason for buying them. As other reviewers have said they are a little hard to get tightened up due to the design of that loops for the laces. Also, the tongue should be a little longer so is a bit difficult to grab.

4.0 out of 5 stars. good, not greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bucko from Montana on Tuesday, August 30, 2016I bought these for backpacking. The soles are solid and will keep your soles from feeling the grind of rocks on the trail. The lacing is hard to get tight, impossible in fact with so few loops for the laces to pass through. However they will stay on your feet and allow for wider toed feet to be very comfortable in the shoes. I've only done one trip, but 6 miles each way and a bunch of rock scrambling and a peak climbed, and they worked out well. I'm happy with my purchase and did order a size larger as indicated.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not the Usual Vasque fit!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ed from Idaho on Saturday, August 13, 2016I have the slightly narrow heel and normal width front foot typical of an endurance athlete. These are a little too wide for me. They are a typical well-built Vasque shoe....stiff but breathable. Once they break in they are bomber. But, unlike most Vasque hikers and trail runners, these shoes are a little wider than usual, especially around the heel and midfoot where other Vasque shoes hug the foot to prevent slippage on slopes. With these I have to wear thick socks. You may be able to get around it with a thick aftermarket insole.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Built tough and lite!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tonkakayak from Minnesota on Wednesday, August 3, 2016Needed a work shoe for sales calls in the Great White North that looked good and I allowed me to hi the trails on the North Shore after making my calls. Nice stiff sole to handle rocky terrain, but enough flex for everyday comfort, plus the earthy look does not attract the attention of those uptight management people.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Trail ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from SW Colorado on Wednesday, August 3, 2016These are definitely up to Vasque standards. They are a little stiff but are very comfortable out of the box. The tread is very aggressive giving great purchase on rocky surfaces. I bought mine a half size large and they fit very well. These trail shoes are well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty HeavyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dave the Builder from New Hampshire on Wednesday, July 27, 2016These boots are well made and are true to size. I'm pleased with my purchase for the most part. They are a bit heavy, not really light weight.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Arbe from PA on Saturday, July 16, 2016Seems to be well made and it is comfortable. Runs a little small. I had to return 1st pair for 1/2 size larger. Fit was then good so I ordered a second pair.
