5.0 out of 5 stars. LaCrosse Color forecast stationVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Knoxville on Saturday, February 11, 2017My wife & I love this weather station. It looks great and seems very accurate. When it shows rain, it rains within 12 - 24 hours. Love the remote so we know temperature and humidity inside and out!! Wife liked this so much we bought 4 more as gifts because of STP's price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. What a deal!Reviewed by Anonymous from Mark Twain Nat Forest. on Friday, January 6, 2017With the coupon I paid less for this than I did for a simple atomic clock and this thing just about does it all. From recording min and max temps to being able to set an alarm when certain temps are reached. The plan was to use it for monitoring the farm and garden temps.Tonight I have the min temp alarm set to let me know if the utility room gets below freezing so my pipes won't freeze. Humidity reading inside and out is nice. Weather reading seems pretty accurate so far. The only flaw is that if the outdoor temps get too cold, the batteries just don't work for the outdoor sensor. Nevertheless, this gets 5 stars for the price. You can spend 5 times as much if you really need to monitor the temp outdoors accurately below freezing temps.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super Awesome!Reviewed by Babscanfish from Cross Creek, Florida on Friday, January 6, 2017I've had a small indoor outdoor thermometer for at least 15 years. It finally stopped working and I saw this one. Figured for the price I couldn't go wrong.....Wow...for the price I am blown away....It was a snap to set up and now tells me the time, date, indoor and outdoor temp and even predicts the weather....Our local weather station is often wrong so I won't fault this unit if it too does not get it right all the time. I'm thinking about buying a few as gifts.... I know I love mine.

4.0 out of 5 stars. mostly seems fineVerified Buyer Reviewed by Zintis from upstate on Wednesday, January 4, 2017Most functions seem to work properly, but annoyingly the day of the week doesn't correspond with the date and cannot be manually adjusted

3.0 out of 5 stars. Bigger is not always betterVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tonyd from Connecticut on Thursday, June 30, 2016I purchased this La Crosse model S88907 wirth color screen and a less expensive black and white model. This large format model took some time to figure out how to program right out of the package. I finally sought out more information on the La Crosse website as I was getting frustrated trying to figure out all of the functions. The manual search feature showed that a manual was not available but when I looked up the model for purchase it showed a manual option button which worked. It is 13 pages long and contains a lot of extraneous verbiage which to me was not necessary.
My unit was not keeping correct time. After reading the instructions in the manual, I put it up by a window as i live in a basement apt. It must have gotten a better signal as it synced with the atomic clock in that location and started keeping time. I also changed the outdoor location of the transmitter - something that was not described in the package set-up. Moving the outdoor transmitter improved the accuracy of the readings. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Easy to set up and works great!Reviewed by Hikeswithllamas from North Ca on Tuesday, March 22, 2016Large colorful numbers and icons make this weather station a winner for me. It was so easy to set up, that the instructions weren't necessary. I also like the option of being able to plug it in to an outlet or just run it off the batteries. The displays seem to be accurate too.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Another Good Lacrosse ProductVerified Buyer Reviewed by Downeaster from Downeast Maine on Monday, March 21, 2016Color Display is an improvement over black/white display. Needs to be plugged in to electrical outlet for full time color display. Will run on battery power but without display but you can manually activate color display for a brief period which to me would be a bother. I found it easier to set up than earlier models. I initially missed the barometer display but the new "forecast" display seems to accurately predict weather 24 hours in advance.
