5.0 out of 5 stars. Everything you need!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ron from Arizona on Saturday, May 12, 2018I just got back from a 3 night backpacking trip and was able to take everything I needed. Comfortable enough for an 11 mile hike in and out from Havasupai. Water and food included packed out at 25 pounds. If this is the size you are looking for, go for it!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Also good for backpackingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gear4man from San Jose, CA on Thursday, May 10, 2018Although, the bag design for travel. I like the simple design so decided to take chance with a weekend backpacking. It fits the sleeping bag, 2 person tent, air blow sleeping pad, travel pillow, food / stove for 3 days, a change of clothes, 2 liters of waters, a puffy down, rain coat, fleece sweater, jogging pants, and all the survival kits/multi-tools. There are two internal side pockets and an accessory bag/traps in middle to organize, but I didn't use any of that. I order the large side, which seems to fit my torso lenght, but waist belt is still somewhat loose for my 30 in. waist.

5.0 out of 5 stars. 2nd time buyingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Denver on Sunday, May 6, 2018Love this pack especially for traveling, the full body zipper is the best. Second time buying this pack, the first one was stolen.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Total StealReviewed by Emily from Texas on Wednesday, November 15, 2017Love this pack! Took it on my first backpacking trip and it was perfect. Lightweight and really sturdy. Very high quality- I stuffed it to the brim and the zippers worked great. Works fine for chicks too. Great deal at $91- can't believe the price is so low now.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great pack - now at a ridiculous priceReviewed by Chuck from Florida, wishing I was back in Seattle... on Monday, November 6, 2017Even at the $91 I paid it was a great deal. Just finished three days in the Grand Canyon and it performed great. Super lightweight, really easy to use with the full length zipper, very comfortable and easy to adjust for maximum comfort. Good for up to 4 nights out. Worked great as carry-on luggage too of course.

5.0 out of 5 stars. TMNTReviewed by Guru from Colorado on Tuesday, June 20, 2017Teenage mutant ninja turtles, Heroes in a half shell-Turtle Power!
Also, it's a really sweet pack that has zips and organization inside with access to the half shell with a very convenient front zipper. Although may not be the safest shell for international travel, it's really well made. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. All I wanted in an ultra-light packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Saturday, September 19, 2015I have to say I haven't had time to actually use this pack yet, but in checking it out it seems to be all I wanted in an ultra-light pack.
In checking it so far I find that there's room for my $129 Kelty Salida 2 Backpacking 2 Person Tent 2 including fly & poles & stakes (2 steel + 6 titanium), my $25 Kelty Salida tent footprint, my $50 Klymit Static V Lightweight Sleeping Pad & sack & repair kit, and my $62 TETON Sports TrailHead +20 Degree F Ultralight Sleeping Bag (2.9 lbs, 87"x 32"x 22") including the compression sack, as well as the included Sapa Trek rain cover, with all of this weighing in very slightly under 12.5 lbs total!
And all of this with plenty of room to spare (as far as I'm concerned) for my clothes, jacket, water and food. I was weighing the alternatives and decided on a pack-for-all-purposes compromise of 50 or 55 liters, and this was in the running as soon as I learned about it, since it looks like it will work quite well for both backpacking and for general travel, including carrying along with my fairly minimal panniers on bicycle tours and on motorcycle tours. I have also already picked up a fairly lightweight 50 liter Bago foldable duffel that will just fit the Boreas pack when it's loaded, so that I can protect the pack whenever I decide to check it on flights, rather than using it as a carry-on as will probably be more usual for me (since I usually check my foldable Dahon bicycle in its Dahon bike-case whenever I fly anywhere.
Right now I'm still in the early stages of trying it out with my minimal backpacking gear, but so far it seems quite comfortable and I'm looking forward to getting it on the trail and on the road shortly.
