For the last 2 years I've kept several sets (lengths and weights) in my vest all season. At these prices I let STP serve as the one rotating my stock of fresh leaders - I just dont like having any of this stuff sit around for more than a season or two. I've ordered the other brand from STP as well - I tend to stick with Scientific Anglers for their durability.

The 7.5 foot length allows you tie in about 16 inches of tippet and place a split just above the leader to tippet knot so that your split will not slip.
