This chime is poorly constructed, and could not possibly be used for outdoor decor. It is held together by staples, and these were not all secure, when the product arrived. The carving of the beaks on this and another wood chime that I ordered was so poorly done, that the beaks looked "broken", rather than carved. This product is not a "keeper" for me, and I am reluctantly going through the return process.
