The handles are nicely rounded so they don't cut into your hands or shoulders. They can hold a great deal of weight, more than 2 gallons of milk and fold flat. I gave 4 stars because I don't know how well they will clean up. They are not lined. I am considering using a fabric dirt/water repellant like Scotchgard.
