I have broad shoulders but not exactly a v shape anymore. I bought the xxl and it fits well, but snug by my standards. I really like the coat but won't be doing much layering, definitely not sweaters. I plan to wear a primaloft vest over it for colder days.

He wears a med in Pendleton and a 33 jean. The other coat I purchased in a lg fit my son who is rail thin. I have learned that Barbour (we have other coats from this line that we wear different sizes in) has three different cuts slim, modern and relaxed. I believe from all the coats that I have purchased from ST in the Barbour line they are all the slim cut which means they are really fitted in the arm pits. Now this coat is a winner! My husband has worn it already 4 times. It looks great on him! Barbour quality, it is thin so great if you are wearing it to something inside and don't want to remove a jacket or perfect late spring early fall wear. If you can find one in your size you will love it!
