  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Great Looking; Poor fit and performance

I WANTED to like this jacket. It has the right look that I was going for. Casual with a function. Except when I put it on, I immediately noticed the weird cut of the jacket under the arms. I'm 198 and 6'1. Sleeves went from slightly too long at rest to way short while riding. Just and awkward all around fit. Finally, no venting whatsoever! Yes, seems are all taped but you might as well be wearing a plastic garbage bag. I was sweating like crazy inside on a rather cool day. Returning for another jacket from a brand that fits my frame better.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Doesn't hold up to discription.

While the jacket is nice looking and fits a little snug. I used it twice in cool weather and it just doesn't do the job. First time I just wore a T-shirt and the jacket at about 45 degrees and the chest felt comfortable but the sleeves let the cold in and made the ride really uncomfortable. The second time it was colder 36 degrees F and I used a T-shirt, a long sleeved T and a turtle neck shirt and the jacket. I was cold everywhere. The wind cut through and riding along the trial that goes along the Allegheny and Ohio rivers was not very comfortable. I think this jacket is probably geared for 55 degrees F and above. Just does not fit the bill. The price I paid for it at Sierra is probably the real price and not the inflated "sells elsewhere for $250.00 price" Would not recommend.

...if you have broad muscular shoulders and thick biceps like I do, this coat will fit like spandex on you.

    Cut for twiggy guys.

i have several compliments on the style and fit of this jacket. it has served me well as a cool weather jacket. the size medium fits me well as i have a 38-39 inch chest and a 33 waist. this is a slimmer fit jacket. my only complaint is the metal zipper near the neck will sometimes rub my chin.
