The label on the blanket lists 80% cotton and 20% "other." I don't want my granddaughter to be putting some unknown "Other" against her face. So I am sending it back.

The fabric is strong and dense and somewhat soft. It's not baby soft or soft like a plush blanket, but it's probably not meant to be. These are used as couch blankets in the winter months as they are not bedroom-y looking but rather tailored and casual. I'm really impressed with Peacock Alley and trust that they really do use excellent quality cotton in their products. Looking forward to enjoying this new print as soon as it's cold here.
