5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for windy bike ridesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eagle eye shopper from Indiana on Monday, February 22, 2016Bought this to protect my hubby's face/head during bike rides in 40 degree weather. Really warm and covers his large head nicely. Helmet fits over balaclava with no issues. Lightweight, but very warm!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love It So FarVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fly Fisherman from Kentucky on Tuesday, January 19, 2016I've only used this once, for running on a 31 degree day with 20 mph winds. The wind chills had to be in the 20's. My glasses fogged something terrible, but that can't be prevented. However, for a thin, light fabric, the item worked very well. My face and ears were plenty warm, and I didn't get overheated after several miles of running, which could have happened with a heavier fabric. Speaking of which, the fabric is soft and comfortable. I think it would also work well for biking in the cold. I easily washed it in the sink afterwards, wrung it out with a few twists, and hanged it to dry. The fabric appears to be durable. It breathed through the mouth vents as well as you could expect for such a product, but it also helped moisten the air I was breathing. I was surprised to find some ice had formed on the outside fabric below the mouth vent when I finished my run.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great BalaclavaVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Monday, November 9, 2015This Balaclava works well, I especially like the nose and mouth areas having the ability to breath. One thing to note about this Balaclava is that it is not possible to "lower" the mouth section under your chin like some in the event your face gets too hot. You have to leave it as is or take the whole thing off. This is not really a problem if you are watching the weather, otherwise I am very happy with this purchase!

4.0 out of 5 stars. It's all about breathingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York City on Tuesday, November 3, 2015I have one balaclava I've worn for years, but it doesn't have a nose opening for breathing. So if I put it up over my face, by glasses fog up. This one should solve the problem. And there's supposed to be a nasty winter ahead, so I anticipate anting to cover my face fairly often.
