They fit great and are very comfortable. They are great for traveling and touring. I particularly like the inner zippered pocket inside the right front pocket. I feel secure putting some cash and id and credit cards in it when we are in areas where there may be pickpockets.

I bought a 36 (like is almost everything else I wear) and they fit mostly around the waste. The hips are where the problem is. They are so tight around the hips that I can't walk in them.

I bought two at the same time. Waist 36/inseam 8 inch. One would fall off my hips the other I could hardly get one leg thru the pant.

The fabric is interesting, it feel good to the skin, a mixed of polyester and others. I normally preferred nylon pants. I will give this a try.

The color is a faded red, and has just enough life to it without being annoying. The top stitching is a medium blue tone, and the shorts pair well with both t-shirts and button down shirts, as well as sandals and converse. The added bonus was the back right pocket is zippered, and securely holds a wallet. 5' 6", 145# and size 30 were perfect.
