Upon putting the shoes on our child, the threading holding the webbing of the tongue came undone on BOTH shoes. The webbing is nothing more than thin mesh, similar to the lining of men's jogging shorts. The tiny amount needed to create this barrier in the shoe doesn't leave much room for thread connection to the tongue, allowing for it to come undone easily. In other words, great shoe, poor design on the shoe tongue webbing. I took the time to sew it back together instead of returning because it really is a nice light shoe.

The one grandson's pair fit perfectly, but the second grandson's shoe was too wide for his foot. I never realized how narrow my grandson's foot was until this pair of shoes. They can be tightened with the pull string. They are a great looking shoe and so easy to put on. If your child has a normal foot, this is a great shoe for them. True to size lengthwise. The price was amazing!
