5.0 out of 5 stars. Great price for GaitersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Q from Az on Tuesday, March 8, 2016Good durable gaiters and a fantastic price.
Only concern would be if you have large calf muscles these might run a little small on you. -
1.0 out of 5 stars. uselessVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mary from Pa. on Thursday, February 18, 2016I can't say these are capable of accomplishing what they were made for? Without having any elastic or tightening element around the boot area, the elements can enter. The price is cheap enough to have someone alter them and add elastic. But without some kind of adjustment, they are useless.

2.0 out of 5 stars. OP Cross Country 18" gaiters lack adjustabilityReviewed by BilB from california on Wednesday, February 17, 2016I was very disappointed to find these gaiters do not have adjustability where it is needed most. I bought the XL (size 10-12US) for my size 11 snow boot and the lower cord was way too long for me with no adjustment relying solely on the elasticity of the cord. This tension is critical to keep the gaiter pulled down tight on your boot.
The diameter is small and tight with only the width of the velcro, no elastic, for adjustments. I need to field test these to see if the inflexibility becomes a problem.
I got these cheap so i will modify the length of the lower cord with a knot or some other MacGyver hack.
Spend a little more get one that has an adjustable design. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. XL was too small!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Grand Junction, Colorado on Tuesday, February 9, 2016This could be a very good gaiter, but it was far too small. I am 6' 1'' and 220 pounds and I could not get the hook and loop more than half closed around my upper calf and it was way too tight around my lower calf. However, it fit well around my ankle and the tops of my size 12 boots. I looked at them and there is no taper to accommodate the bulge of the calf, just the flare at the boot top. I had accidentally thrown away the packaging so I ended up giving these gaiters to a friend of mine who is 5' 9" and 170 pounds and they fit him good, except a little loose at his size 9 boots. Now you know.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Decent gaiters without the high costVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve ski from Colorado on Wednesday, January 27, 2016I have often wondered why most gaiters cost >$60. These gaiters have all the features I need: boot strap, lace clip, can put on without taking off my boots via top to bottom wide velcro wrap, and top cinch closure. No GoreTex but I can spray them with Nikwax TX spray-on waterproofing. Great for hiking and snowshoeing too.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Seem well made, but made for skinny legs.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Griz from McCall, Idaho on Wednesday, January 6, 2016These appear to be made as well as any other gaiters I've seen, but they do not have an abrasion pad on the inside so expect to see wear. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on performance since they wouldn't even come close to fitting around my calves, even without my boots on. For reference, my calves are 20" in circumference. They wouldn't fit my wife ether who is quite a bit smaller than I am.

4.0 out of 5 stars. small in the calfReviewed by Aggie from CA on Monday, January 4, 2016Looks like a good gaiter but I couldn't get it to close around my calves with my snow pants on. My snow pants are fairly thin, but the gaiters might be okay if you were wearing hiking pants instead. Also, I am 6' 2" and 250lbs so they might fit a person with more slender legs.
