4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice backpack but belt pockets are very smallReviewed by Allyce from California on Saturday, April 15, 2017I got this pack because I wanted one with a good waist belt to ease strain on my shoulders and back and thought the idea of having a pocket for my phone and other items that you can reach from the front, without having to temove the pack, was great. Unfortunately those pockets are so small that my phone won't fit. Otherse it's a good daypack.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bogart126 from Colorado on Friday, March 24, 2017Have only used a couple of times since I got it. I was looking for something a bit on the smaller based on what I currently have. While it is smaller it is not small. Good space to fit what you will need for a day hike. A number of well placed pockets. The water bottle pockets on the sides are stretchy so can hold even a nalgene. Only concern is the materials. Buckles and pack material seem a bit cheaply made though haven't used enough to now for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice daypackReviewed by Viking Hiker from Minnesota on Friday, February 17, 2017Have only used it a couple of times so far, but it does everything I need it to do. Lightweight yet has ample pockets to store needed items. Works well with my hydration bladder, also holds a Nalgene bottle perfectly in the side pockets (though pockets are a little farther back than I'd like). Comfortable for hiking for several hours, good suspension and hipbelt is comfortable. Overall very good product at a good price point.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not designed for a womanVerified Buyer Reviewed by NH JP from New Hampshire on Friday, January 6, 2017A well thought out pack, but not designed for a woman. Even though I have an 18 inch torso (the specs say 18-21 inch torso), the hip belt has to sit below my waist, and the chest straps are not adjustable enough to be on the right place. It also does not lay flat over my shoulders, as though it is too long.

5.0 out of 5 stars. An International StarVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy Traveler from California on Saturday, January 23, 2016The perfect balance of function, durability and style. This backpack served as my additional piece of carry-on luggage for travel. It was just the right size to fit under the airline seat in front of me and large enough to fit everything that couldn't be stowed in my small rolling case. The light frame made it easy for me to carry and the various compartments allowed me quick access to my passport and other important papers. I also purchased a hydration pack and I'm looking forward to using this backpack for summer hiking excursions.

5.0 out of 5 stars. MultipurposeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bay Area, CA on Thursday, December 17, 2015I have been searching for somewhat larger backpack with generous side pockets for water bottles (I don't use hydration bladders, but this pack can accommodate it if you want) and this one is exactly what I was looking for. It can also be converted into a city/work backpack by removing the hip belt. Plenty of pockets to organize things, yellow pack rain cover, loop for hiking poles, perfectly padded back, hip belt (removable) and straps. It has all the functionalities of a hiking pack while looking as a day pack. Ideally, I wanted the grey color, but only black was available. However, it looks very good and more formal in black. Very happy with it, more than I expected. Great quality.
p.s. It seems to be getting harder and harder to find a decent pack that doesn't come in 'search-and-rescue' screaming, annoying colors and with side pockets that can actually accommodate bottles.
