4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for my next Hiking tripVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gardengal from Damon, TX on Tuesday, March 15, 2016Very well made and it has sturdy zippers. I got the teal color, and it will be great for hikes when I don't feel like carrying my backpack. Lot of pockets to carry stuff.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not what I expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by NordicGuy from bend oregon on Tuesday, March 1, 2016I have several mountainsmith lumbar packs and backpacks and in general like them very much. The Tour is a great, somewhat large bag and I wanted to have something a bit sleeker and smaller for travel. The swift seemed to fit that bill but had the following issues.
The waistbelt is narrower than most other mountainsmith lumbar packs and would be uncomfortable with any load over about 3 pounds.
The back pocket was lined with soft material, but I can't imagine what I would put in it other than a cell phone or really small tablet. A hanging soft pocket would have made much more sense for glasses/phones. i.e. camel-back style.
The back pocket is "hinged" with 2 straps. I don't know how to use the space created with these straps as it is too small for most jackets and there is nothing to keep items from simply falling out. The straps also interfere with access to the main compartment.
Given these design flaws, I decided to return the pack and continue to use my Tour. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great designVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Wednesday, October 28, 2015I am pleased with the design and have always loved lumbar straps/shoulder strap combo. The water bottle pockets are great phone pockets. The main compartment is a bit small but it has forced me to down size the junk which is what I am always trying to do anyway. A longer zipper may help and a flatter bottom.
