1.0 out of 5 stars. DisappointedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sean from Phoenix Arizona on Saturday, March 4, 2017Pretty disappointing purchase here and my first time returning an item to STP. It was tiny. Both in size and capacity. I don't see how in the world it holds 28L! I use a Granite Gear Taku that's 24L and could not fit my normal carry gear comfortably in this bag, let alone an additional 4 liters. The size of the bag seemed very small also. Compared to the Granite Gear or Thule 22L backpack I recently got from STP this Bergans bag was 3 inches shorter in height. I am only 5'8" and this bag looked like one of my 6 y/o daughters backpacks on me. I returned it then ordered a Deuter Act Trail 30 and what a difference!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Handy backpack sizeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mojo-jojo from Texas on Tuesday, August 9, 2016I got this as a gym bag and it looks good so far. Just enough for gym pants, shirt, shoes, bathing suit, harness, and chalk bag with a little room leftover for a snack. It is medium weight and looks well built! We will see

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, not perfect (but close!)Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington, DC on Wednesday, July 6, 2016This Bergans daypack is pretty slick. It was smaller than I expected, but for a day hike it should be perfect. Mine arrived with a zipper pull tab missing... bad luck, I guess. My only real gripe is that you can't hide your water bag in an enclosed pocket. Not a big deal, but that's just my preference. It'll be great for both day hikes and as an airplane carry-on.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect day bagReviewed by Anonymous from Norway on Wednesday, June 15, 2016I've used this bag for 3 years during one day hikes in every kind of weather.
The bag is sleek, airy and you can stuff alot in it. Accessing the compartment is easy with the zipper surrounding almost the entire bag. And you can access the main compartment from the bottom too.
It is light, adjustable and you hardly notice it on your back. There's 10 (?) additional fix points for your carabiners for various equipment or tools and the small front pocket at the top can hold your keys and wallet.
There's flexible mesh on the sides for your water bottles, you can strap your jacket across the backpack with the three compression straps. This back is just very very flexible. And did I mention it was light?
Already recommended to many of my friends! -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for our usesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Cronin Cabinets fan from Central MA on Monday, February 29, 2016I purchased this as a school bag, but it is too small. I could see it being a nice day pack, but not a school bag.
