We didn't really need this large of a leash with my small Westie, but was a good buy. Would be great for a medium to large breed.

The handle does leave a chemical smell on my hands, however. Hoping that will dissipate and that the leash itself will not acquire that wet dog odor too soon.

Has very comfortable cushion grip for dog owner, It is strong and sturdy, easy to use. Bought two of these, one for home and one for fishing cabin.............as dog goes back and forth. Great Leash, will not come apart and believe it will last.
