5.0 out of 5 stars. Best. Shoe. EVER.

Okay, guys. I may start sleeping in these shoes.
I've definitely been living in them.

I am appreciative of the reviews I read in other places online, because you want to order them a half-size larger, for sure.
They run a little small.
They are tough, and versatile.

Don't worry that there are holes in them. Wear thick socks if it's cold, and since you ordered them a hal-size larger,
they'll still feel comfy.
The drawstring lace feature is incredibly helpful and helps make the shoe even more versatile.
I did a ton of research on several different types of trail runners before I decided on these.

I find that there is ample arch support without going crazy with it, and although I have not crossed any streams
in them yet, I can tell that this shoe will be able to withstand almost any terrain and weather.

You can't beat the price either. I tried. Not even REI Outlet could beat the price on this site.
I'm a Sierra Trading Post ADDICT!!!

Buy these or regret it forever.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Hiking-Water Shoes!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Saturday, July 16, 2016
As an avid hiker I have been trying out various brands of hiking shoes for a couple years now to see what is the best one for me. I've had Jambu which are pretty but not comfy and gave me blisters every time, Keen are too big and bulky for me, and Ahnu were decent and a lot like Merrell but I got a 1/2 size too big and didn't care much for the tread. My husband just got a pair of Merrell's recently and loves them so I decided to give them a try. These shoes are awesome! So comfy and fit true to size. Great for running as well as hiking. I am a fan of the Vibram soles anyway so I was happy that these have them. The only thing I would change is the amount of openings in the shoe because if you use them without going in the water your feet sweat pretty bad.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Small

This shoe seemed very comfortable but it was small. I wear an 8.5 & my big toe was touching the top of the shoe. I sent them back.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable and cute!

I ordered the same size as my running shoes which are 1/2 size larger than my casual shoes, and they fit very well. I stand all day for work, and these shoes are surprisingly one of my most comfortable! As someone else commented, they look way smaller than they are, and are just really cute. They don't dry as quickly as some sandals, but I love that my feet are more protected. This is my first Merrell purchase, but it won't be my last!
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable "all purpose" outdoors shoe for women
Verified Buyer Reviewed by HikerChick from Indiana on Wednesday, May 18, 2016
Shoes are comfortable with or without socks and straight out of the box. The locking laces allow you to get a good tight fit on the sandal-like heel section. The shoes have wonderful grippy soles for hiking or walking on rocks or other wet surfaces. My daughter and I each have a pair. She lives in Colorado and I live in Indiana. This is a great shoe for when you are taking a trip where you will be in several outdoor activities...the beach, a decent hike, or walking around town. I ordered my regular size and fit was great. The only down side might be that they do get a bit warm on a hot muggy day.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Hiked 18 miles at Jacks River Falls in these
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Jacks River on Tuesday, May 17, 2016
These shoes worked great for hiking a trail with river crossings. Crossing Jacks River about 42 times made these shoes ideal for the conditions. They dried fairly well after each crossing. My only set back were some serious blisters most likely cause by them being too big. I bought a 9.5 as that is what I normally wear, but I had a lot of extra room in the toes.

About Merrell

The story of Merrell boots all started with a guy named Randy Merrell, who began handcrafting leather hiking boots back in 1981, shortly after graduating from industrial shoemaking school. By the mid-80s, Randy’s boots had already gained critical acclaim before being named “best boots in the world” by Backpacker Magazine. The next decade saw the arrival of new footwear, including the ever-popular Jungle Moc, which helped launch the after-sport category. Today, Merrell hiking boots, running shoes and sneakers are still among the best on the market, always combining the newest technology, innovative designs and outstanding comfort. Whether you hike, run, walk or just appreciate high-quality shoes and boots, we’re confident that you’ll love Merrell shoes.
