On my short self (5'2"), they are boxy and come almost to my knees. They are ok for covering up padded buns when riding into town or the farmer's market.

Comfortable on a ride and cute enough to run errands in - not so much padding that it looks like a full diaper. I was going to get a second pair, but the only color available in my size is black. I'm usually between a small/medium (6-8), ordered the small and they fit great.
