For these, my toe was hitting on the 8. Reordered an 8 1/2, and they fit perfectly; comfy right out of the box. Would have given them a 5 if not for the sizing issue.

I can wear them all day and put them on the next day with NO PAIN!! The fit is true to size, I can wear an 8 or an 8 1/2 and I ordered an 8 1/2 and the fit is perfect! I don't care much for the graphics but since I ordered clearance, I can't complain but, $45. for these shoes is a real bargain. I price checked every where and found this price to be the lowest.
The heel is reinforced so if you have had problems with heels being flimsy, you will be pleased with this heel, it doesn't bend over when you are trying to put them on. There were additional laces with these shoes that has a slide cylinder on them and I can't figure out how to use them...
My foot feels totally supported, including my arch, which is non existent and I can wear them for hours with no pain. This is the first shoe that I can say that about. I also tried the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15 $67.46, also a running shoe manufactured for the flat foot. I loved the color, a bright blue but, all they had was an 8 and it was just too small for my toes. My second toe is longer than my big toe and both of these shoes accommodated the toe situation. The Brooks was just too short to run in. If I had been able to order the Brooks in an 8 1/2, I probably would have kept them because I liked the color scheme better than the Pink Splash of the Asics Gel. -

She already had the same ones in an older model and ran them to nothing, so thought an upgrade would be good. She has wide feet, and these seem to work well for her. They are very light and lasted a while. Only negative thing she said are the soles are a little thin, but I assume that is on purpose for a lighter shoe.
