5.0 out of 5 stars. Great trail running shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by John from West Chester, PA on Thursday, May 25, 2017My second pair of Hoka Challengers and I can say they are my favorite trail running shoes by far - incredibly light and highly cushioned. The only draw back is lack of upper durability but I personally prefer the lighter weight.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great for Under-pronatorsVerified Buyer Reviewed by christophermartinreck from Vermont on Wednesday, May 10, 2017I walk on the outsides of my feet and finding shoes that a redesigned for me can be tough. Plus, with a severely compromised ankle (missing cartilage), proper support and cushioning is critical.
The Challenger ATR fits the bill.
I would prefer if they were even more supportive but they are very comfortable. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. The lightest running shoe that I have wornVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Monday, April 24, 2017The shoe is light although the tongue is very thin which makes the shoe uncomfortable when the shoestrings are cinched tightly. Compared to Altra, the toe box is tight and constrictive-similar to other running shoe brands. I'll have to buy another pair of Hokas to make my final determination. I only paid around $54 for these because are older models

4.0 out of 5 stars. Challenger ATR great trail running shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Matthew Bingham from Georgia on Monday, April 3, 2017Just finished a race in these great shoes size was a little bit large but with both insoles felt great. Very similar to the Clifton's but with no padding on the tongue. Wore for two practice runs before race no hot spots and was a very nice ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Pillows for your feetVerified Buyer Reviewed by mplight from Tiverton, RI on Thursday, March 16, 20171st purchase of Hoka One shoes- VERY Comfortable, true to size, med width. Although described as Trail runners, there is very little lateral support- but I got them primarily for my knees- very cushy, thick soles need a little getting used to, but really like them- tongue has no padding- but does not affect fit or comfort.
