All three bowl cradles cracked when we tried to extend the legs and lock them in place. The bowl cradle material seems too brittle.

Popping the legs out takes two people, at first you think you'll surely break them off, but they are sturdy once flipped out. The dish is nice and deep, they do not tip over or slide around. Great price too.

There is a button but it was hard to push in. One of the bowls cracked when trying to set it up. The bowls are attractive but small. Good for my Dachshunds but may not work for a large dog.
