5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking shorts—good fit, quick-drying fabric, not too noisy.Reviewed by SJS from NYC on Tuesday, July 5, 2016These are perfect hiking shorts for my purposes: They fit well, they're an ideal length (so many are unnecessarily long—if I want long, I'll wear pants, but if I'm wearing shorts, I want to be cool!), they've got normally-shaped roomy pockets, they dry quickly (and yet aren't overly technical-feeling) and they don't stretch out, slip down or bunch up over the course of a long hike. They're also much simpler and better-looking than most hiking shorts. I'm about 5'7" and 125 pounds, usually a size 0 or 2 (or waist size 25) in jeans, and the 2 fit best in these shorts.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good but differentReviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Wednesday, June 15, 2016Than the Horizon Becca short which seem to run smaller in size...I wore a 8 in those and the Horizon II size 8 were a bit big...will try the 6...The pockets are different in back and a drawstring is present in the new version but overall the quality seem the same...

3.0 out of 5 stars. Too shortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Indpls on Thursday, February 11, 2016Well made but very short. I am 5' 1".For hiking I like shorts about 2 inches longer. I have north face cargo pants that zip off. These shorts are much shorter than the zipped off cargos. Well made. Sturdy draw string at waist.
