5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoe, perfect fit.

First let me say I have probably 11 pairs of Vivobarefoot shoes. I came to the brand due to being diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and make the choice to do the opposite of what I was told to do by my podiatrist. Four months in minimalist shoes and my feet are 90% better. This specific pair of Vivo is nice and I had the Ra which I exchanged for the Freud 2. The Ra was only available in a size 40 and it turned out to be too small....all of my Vivo are 41 which translates for me to a men's 8.5....I can do a 42 but they are a tad large. The construction of the Freud seems good....only time will tell if they hold up. If if you need or just like minimalist shoes these are great, I can wear them to work as business casual shoes or they look awesome with jeans.

About VivoBarefoot

Having suffered from several foot injuries during his tennis career, Tim Brennan eventually decided that his conventional athletic shoes were to blame and set about creating his own. By the time he officially launched VivoBarefoot shoes in 2004, Brennan had already spent five years on research and development, which included input from sixth generation shoemaker Galahad Clark. At the time, VivoBarefoot running shoes and tennis shoes were the first minimalist athletic shoes engineered with ultra-thin, puncture-resistant soles designed to offer lightweight shock absorption and sensory feedback. The concept took off, and minimalist footwear has been gaining momentum ever since. Today, VivoBarefoot shoes are available in more than 50 different models, from trail running shoes to chukkas. Vivo the revolution.
