As hikers, they grip very well on all surfaces, including wet rock. I love Lowa Renegades, but for the money and my usage, these are an excellent value! They hold up extremely well (my second pair, the first pair continues as lawn-cutting kicks with plenty of tread after a couple hundred mile, at least.

I use these as my all around boots in dirt, rain, mud, and snow. They really are waterproof and hold up great. The tie system is awesome because it’s just a pull and they stay tight! I kno w these are meant for trail running but they ended up being my Swiss Army knife of shoes. They could do whatever I needed.
