The width given in the description (19 inches) is for the top opening only. The base is more like 15 or 16 inches wide. Therefore, my laptop will slide into the bag but not all the way to the bottom. There is a space of several inches at the bottom. I will probably try to fill it with a towel or something just to make the bag usable. It would be fine if it were not for the fact that the bag narrows at the bottom, the description did not indicate that, and the photo makes it appear that the sides of the bag go more or less straight down.- Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Practical

The laptop sleeve is nice & soft but not very padded. I have a 13 in MacBook Pro & the sleeve is a bit big so I added an additional padded sleeve that I already had. The zippered compartments on the front are surprisingly small, the 2 zippers give you access to 2 small separate compartments in the middle of the bag, not on the sides like I had guessed. The rear zippered compartment is great for papers& such. I've had it about 2 weeks & I really like it.
