5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Car Camping TentReviewed by Calculsuh1 from Sonoma County, CA on Wednesday, May 22, 2019I was looking for a 4-person tent to take with me to festivals where the weather wouldn't be so terrible, and on car camping trips when multiple people would be sleeping in the same tent. So far I've only been camping once in the desert with this tent. It was very easy to set up alone. I'm not a big fan of pole sleeves but as tall as this tent is, I understand why they used sleeves instead of clips. I really like the pull-away star gazer rainfly feature. The tent can get hot really easily, the vents really don't do much, so i'ts nice to be able to pull back the fly and air out the tent. On the flip side, the tent kept me very warm at night and dry when showers passed through, and I tend to run cold, especially at night.
I am 5'3" and I like that I can just about stand in this tent. It makes putting on pants much easier, as well as, getting in and out of the tent. The two awnings are SO useful. I kept my spare camping stuff and cooler under the back awning, while I kept my shoes and water bottle under the front awning. When it was raining I stashed my chair in the front awning without blocking the entrance. The tent is spacious inside, I was able to fit a queen inflatable mattress with room for bags. I also really like how the rainfly securely snaps in to the main tent. I'd never seen that before.
If I could improve the tent, I would add a gear loft, swap out aluminum poles (to reduce weight), and increase the ventilation inside somehow. However, for this crazy low STP price, I really can't complain. This is a great tent for the price. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Quality EvidentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Acadia 4 Owner from Missouri on Wednesday, May 15, 2019Kelty designs tents that far exceed the quality of discount manufacturers. This is most evident in features such as the overall weight, the taped and sealed seams, the above average stakes, and the full rain fly. The Acadia 4 rainfly provides two large storage vestibules, but the rainfly does significantly diminish air flow during warmer months. The Acadia 4 can be assembled by one person and uses simple color coding to assist assembly. As with this Kelty tent and most tents on the market, the tent footprint is an additional cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Kelty StrongVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hamm from Central Florida on Wednesday, April 17, 2019Great product as you would expect from kelty, super easy set up!! Took maybe 12 mins for the first time not bad for the first time. And only around 7 mins after that. First night in the tent received a heavy down poor for a few hours not one drop of water came in and condensation was not a problem from the fly being down @ around 75°F in the Florida humidity. Great ventilation even when the rain fly is down. And the price for a 4 person kelty can’t be beat a little on the heavy side but great for car camping or short hikes. First couple of nights was spent way out in the middle of my backyard lol my sons first time in a tent and he loved it. The roll up stargazing rain fly is awesome we could lay there and watch the stars and the planes on the flight path to MCO Orlando International. We had fun counting how many went by is Best investment in a long time. I grew up in the outdoors and I hope he does the same peace and quiet And 100% kelty quality.
