I am a 70 year old women who never climbed before with or without trekking poles. I used them at Acadia Park in Maine and they served me very well. They were light, easy to adjust and sturdy.

    These poles are much lighter than the ones I was using before. My hands sweat a lot when hiking so I wrapped the grips with some sports tape and it worked out great.
