5.0 out of 5 stars. better than a stickVerified Buyer Reviewed by thanatoi from sierra nevadas on Thursday, July 24, 2008Got a pair of these for myself and my 8 year old son for backpacking. They really help out on carrying heavy loads for long distances over uneven and rocky trails. Several times they have kept us from falling and eating dirt. They also take the strain of my knees. Easy to adjust and they usually stay locked into place. Havent tried them in snow yet. The baskets seem a little small but these are a cheap addition. Looking forward to using them in snow in a couple months.
