3.0 out of 5 stars. Too tight, not rightVerified Buyer Reviewed by i'd rather be outside from New England on Monday, April 9, 2012I like the smaller profile of the shoe compared to other Merrell's I've owned. But the shoes are so tight on my feet that they often go numb while I am driving or sitting. They are not tight enough around the ankles and the height of the heel verses the ball of the foot makes them feel tippy and unsecure on trail surfaces. The ball of shoe has a lot less padding than my previous trail runners.
I like their look, and I'll keep them casual use around town. But I need a better fitting shoe for hiking/trail running.- Arch Type: Average Arch
