I have been a Merrell fan for many years. Have 5 pair of various styles which are among my favorite shoes. These are an embarrassment to the brand. The upper material seems to be some sort of rubber. The fit is unwearable. The only good thing was the clearance price. Looked at them, tried them on, and then immediately they went into the donation pile. I only hope this is not a sign of where Merrell is headed. If it is, they will soon be out of business. AJG
