It is compact and strong and hold 16 + 3 ( on the top rack) pairs of shoes. I am using it in my garage. And I have ordered 2 more for my wife to stack one above the other in the garage. Also you are saving $20 here compared to any other retailer who sells this product.

This shoe rack is a little oversized so shoes fit comfortably. Took about 5 minutes to assemble with a power drill. Very simple- just a few screws to assemble and a regular screwdriver will work fine. Good quality and overall I'm happy with my purchase.

A pair of my women's size 7 shoes barely fit in a cubby. There's no way my husband could fit a pair of his size 11 shoes in these slots. Too bad it took us a while to set up and try out, or I'd return both racks.

I use it for dog walking and gardening shoes, so not all the spaces hold a pair. That's fine with me. At least the shoes are all neatly stowed and the closet floor is cleaner. Occasionally I just use a shop vac to clean the the slots. Even after walks in the rain, the shoes dry out nicely in this rack. Super easy to put together and as I'm using it, it's very stable.

You don't have to see the entire shoe "collection" like other exposed shoe racks; these are tucked away. Easy assembly and not cheap looking, at all. I'm very pleased and the price was reasonable for the quality provided. I will look for more products from neatfreak!
