I bought these in grey from another online retailer but are the same model. The laces are more like the Loc Lace style which when synched up tend to flop around on the top of foot which can get annoying. They do seem to get a little warm after an hour or so, and I have not tested in warmer conditions yet.
These NB shoes fit true to size unlike other runners I have which I need 1/2 size larger, so I'd say stick with your norm on these.

-5 loss of one star for the fact the laces are a single drawstring, and once cinched tight to jog, the lace and plastic pull tab on the end bounces around. It is annoying the top of my foot since the mesh offers no protection from external bumps from the laces.
I ALTERED IT THIS WAY TO FIX IT: Snipped the laces shorter and carefully unsnapped the clipped together pull tabs and Snapped it all back together over my shorter clipped laces like the factory did. IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!
But that's a lot of "PRE-USAGE" preparation. They should have went with normal laces but they wanted to be FANCY! -

Worry about long term durability as the material looks like it will wear out quickly. But for kids that grow out of them in a year shouldn't make a difference. My sons 15 and 13 love them
